It’s been a few years since we’ve ventured down to Moyvalley but today’s outing took us back for the first time since 2022. Both the course and the weather played nicely and with perfect conditions we saw a return to really high scoring pratically all round. In all a total of 23 headed down for the second Sunday outing of the 2026 calendar and all but 2 managed to get around the course with a score of 30 or more points! Great extraordinary really. Well done to all our sharp shooters today and a big congratulations to the sharpest shooter of all Philip Butler with a monster 45 points. Serious kudos to Butsy who’s having a really great year of golf - this is second overall win of the year and those overall wins are coupled with a category win in the K club.
All of this high scoring has made the Player of the Year table look incredibly interesting going into the last outing of the scoring outings which will be in the north county Dublin club of Skerries next month.
