  The group of us headed down to Clane today to the cracking course of Millicent Golf Club. It seemed like the weather forecast for the afternoon in Clane didn’t look great. Thankfully though, it was much better than expected and the lads that made the journey were treated to a smashing day of golf. The course was setup perfectly and the greens were immaculate and it lent itself to some brilliant scoring once more. The committee would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU TO PAUL KENNY and Winroy on behalf of the society for sponsoring this outing.

  Included in the high scores of today were some first timers at the top and it was really great to see. One of our high scorers was higher than all though, and that was Philip Butler who scored an unbelievable 43 points and shot the lights out in all truth. Special mention to Karl Carey also of course with an equally impressive 42 points. Today also so some very impressive golf on the par 3s with 5 of the lads shooting birdies!
