Today’s outing took us to the border town of Castleblaney in county Monaghan and the absolutely fabulous course that is Concra Woods, one of the finest courses in Ireland and it didn’t disappoint!
The course is set around Lough Muckno with a mixture of elevated greens and the opposite with elevated fairways dropping down onto greens set around the lake. It is a tough course at the best of times and today was no different but many of our players made light work of it. Ger Cleary topped us all with his second overall victory of the year - fair play Ger!!
A total of 23 players took to the course and thankfully there was little or no rain to mention. The committee have checked the results and they are confirmed as follows:
