Outing 8 - Roganstown
- When: 11th November 2023
- First Tee Off: 11:30am
- Course details: Website
Our 8th and FINAL official outing of the year took place in north county Dublin again at Roganstown. Despite the time of year and the recent rounds of heavy rain, it was a beautiful afternoon’s golf in the winter sun. The resident member at Roganstown was tipped to feature in the prizes and so it was no surprise to many that NORMUNDES DACIS took the spoils. What was less expected was the score he achieved in the weather sun. 41 points is more like the scoring some would expect in the height of summer. Well done Normundes! Here’s are full list of winners. You can see what this means to the final standings on the Player of the Year table.
- OVERALL WINNER: Normundes Dacis
- Category 1 Winner: Stewy Galligan
- Category 1 Runner Up: David Geraghty
- Category 2 Winner: Ray Kelly
- Category 2 Runner Up: Stewy O’Donnell
- Nearest the pin FRONT 9: Ray Fagan
- Nearest the pin BACK 9: Normundes Dacis
Before the proceedings in Roganstown, we saw the extremely tight situation at the top of the POTY table with just a single point separately 1st from 2nd. With Andrew Harte unavailable to play, this left the door open for Brendan Brady to chase him down. However, it was a step too far for weather golf to achieve a score of 36 points or better.
All of this means that, the leader that was at one point running away with the Player of the Year title during the year, Andrew Rambo Harte did survive to claim the overall title. CONGRATULATIONS RAMBO ON BECOMING OUR 2023 PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!
